Area and Perimeter animation

AREA AND PERIMETER

Yesterday we had to show a presentation that explains Area and Perimeter. Keep in mind that this was a rough copy of what we were doing and this is what i have been doing and this is what my presentation looks like. I hope you enjoy.

reflect:
I have had a easy time on finding out what is perimeter and Area. This video is to help others understand what Area and perimeter is. The easiest way to understand what Area and perimeter is, is to remember REMEMBER, which one should be multiplied and which one needs to be timed. the number one thing I found challenging was the time was running quick and i almost forgot to ad the square meters.

MISTAKE: my mistake in this video was the units I had also forgot that while adding for perimeter never add meter squared  to the last digit

My next step would be to try and explain Area and perimeter for different        shapes like rectangles, parallelogram, triangle, and etcetera.

Measurement Video

Our assignment was to convert our mahi into a video on each others Chromebooks.
Our class in maths had to make a video about a measurement that we did on an object in our different groups. Each group had a Chromebook each for each groups to record the work they have been working on

Kawakawa clean up.
Sun was shining and so was the Bay Of Islands kids exhausting with excitement. They excitement of leaving school to help our native environment in Aotearoa was busting all over in this yet to be beautiful town. The task of this class by the name of 9R lead by the fantastic teacher MRS higgins AKA richard. These year 9s were filled with energy to help the native ecosystem and awa. The fabulous kids went transporting on foot across different parts of KawaKawa while scavenging and collecting rubbish to attempt to save their fabulous landscape and at the same time to try and inspire other kids/schools to try and attempt the same thing.

Experimental Probability

---->what would you expect to happen mathematically to happen if we rolled the dice 600 times?
you would expect mathematically to get 100 of each and for each answer to have an even chance.

---->what did happen?
out of 600 rolls we expected to get 100 of each but did not happen. The mathematical probability did not show the results we expected or calculated.

the graph shows that our expectations was not correct

song

My composition is a hardcore ear bleeding disturbing creation. I used band lab to create this master piece. I used samples and my own music using the piano that was connected to the computer. I used texture changes to make my song sound sort of all right, but I'm getting there.

This is a screen shot of the mahi that I was working on.

and here is my song.
disclaimer:
this song is very ...... that your ears will bleed
in a good or bad way.--> NAH NAH NAH

fair dice/ the difference

this table is very useful, using a tree diagram
because there would be to many branches and would overflow the pages in a book or a google drawing it has use in small diagrams or probability.

kiwi ana.

This term in social studies we have been learning about....

The aspects of kiwi culture in the waiting treaty exhibition/treaty grounds. We were all arranged into individual groups, each group did different activity's, one group would mess around with the technology and the other group walked around the treaty grounds. Then we would rotate the group. I have been taught about our history in the 19 and 18 century and what our people were signing for and why they signed it. My Favourite part of the trip was the virtual reality, they transformed a game into some educational information. The feeling at first makes you feel frantic, but getting use to it is the most enjoyable feeling.

Probability

today i have learnt....
i have chosen different words that relate to the words
in probability it was an easy task

probability has a scale from 0 to 1 and it can be converted
into a percentage or decimal but we haven't learnt that yet.
The scale has many different words that describe the probability outcomes

so far i know....
that there are different types of possibility

Math decimals

in the pass weeks i have learnt...
about decimals and converting them into different forms
like dividing them, multiplying decimals, rounding the decimals
converting decimals into fractions, the value of the tenths
tenths, hundredths, and finally what 1dp means(meaning decimal points)

dividing decimals:                                                          adding the decimals:
means moving the decimal point towards the right         by adding it can add towards two decimals or
depending on the the number.                                         more depending on the number

multiplying decimals:                                                      expanded form:
means moving the dp towards the left                              to brake down the numbers by its own value                                                                                             depending the number then by plusing                                                                                                 them altogether making it into an expanding form
